罗姆亚洲技术中心落户上海
8月6日，罗姆在上海国际化工新材料创新中心（INNOGREEN）举行亚洲技术中心开幕仪式。上海化工区管理委员会主任马静和罗姆亚洲总裁凌宏恩出席仪式并进行剪彩。罗姆集团CEO裴铭夏（Michael Pack）和集团监事会主席俞大海通过视频会议参加仪式。
新的罗姆亚洲技术中心位于上海化学工业区的INNOGREEN园区内，占地1000平方米。目前投用的部分为一期，以模塑料业务的应用技术与研发实验室为主。二期包括罗姆通用单体及甲基丙烯酸树脂业务的实验室，预计明年中期落成。
全球最大的PMMA消费市场集中在中国以及亚洲其他地区，同时PMMA消耗全球50%以上的MMA（甲基丙烯酸甲酯）产能。作为全球领先的甲基丙烯酸酯一体化公司，罗姆在上海设立亚洲技术中心，旨在加快响应速度，为客户提供更贴近的技术支持，满足客户开发创新设计应用的需求。
近年来，罗姆模塑料业务不断推出中国本土开发的新产品，比如适用于汽车高亮黑立柱和电子显示屏的增韧PMMA宝克力®系列，可满足照明行业“见 光不见灯”等多样化设计需求，以及具有高透过率、高遮盖率等性能优势的光扩散PMMA宝克力®系列等。
未来，依托亚洲技术中心的优势，罗姆将加强与直接客户及主机厂的沟通，提供本土技术支持，助力客户开发创新设计与应用，发力贯穿式尾灯、多彩氛围灯和家用智能照明等市场，加速实现成果转化。
