With the successful commissioning of a new sulfuric acid plant in Worms, Röhm has further reinforced its global production network. Röhm is the only global manufacturer of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) with production sites in Europe, Asia and North America.

In partnership with supplier Valeo and the Renault Group’s consortium The Future Is NEUTRAL™, a prototype for vehicle taillights made from recycled PMMA has been developed. Röhm created new material formulations containing 30% mechanically recycled content, and Valeo produced a demonstrator using these materials. Röhm will showcase the prototype at this year’s K trade fair in October.
