How do I apply for a job at Röhm?

You can find all Röhm’s current job vacancies on our career portal. Interested in applying? The process is simple: create a user account here, upload your documents and enter the reference number* of the job you want to apply for.

Can I send a speculative application?

We aren’t accepting speculative applications at the moment, but you can create a user account on our career portal and activate the automatic notification feature. You will then be notified as soon as new job vacancies are posted online.

Which documents are required?

Convince us in a short cover letter why you are the right candidate for your chosen position. Please also upload your current resume and any relevant references. Some jobs require certain additional qualifications. Please upload the relevant qualification certificates if this applies in your case.

Are there any specifics about uploading documents in my applicant profile?

Unfortunately, Excel and fillable PDF documents containing macros are not accepted. If you can’t upload your document, we recommend printing it out and then scanning it. You can then upload your document to your applicant profile without any difficulty.

Can I apply for more than one position at the same time?

Interested in more than one available job vacancy? If so, you can apply for several positions via your user account. Please make sure that you upload a separate cover letter as well as your resume and references for each position you apply for.

When will I receive feedback on my application?

You will get a confirmation of receipt by email as soon as we receive your application. We will then go through your documents and contact you as soon as possible. You can check the status of your application at any time via your user account.

What can I expect during the application process?

If your application wins us over, we will invite you to an interview with a member of our management team. The next step is for our HR team to get to know you better through a personal interview. If we are a good match, you will receive an offer from us. If you accept this offer, we will obtain approval from our works council, and you will be invited to a company medical screening. We will then discuss the details of the offer and contract with you. If everything feels right for you and us, the contract is then signed.

What are the key criteria for selecting applicants?

For us, it isn’t (just) about references, professional qualifications, and previous experience, but also about the development potential we see in an applicant. Even if you don’t quite meet all the criteria in the job description, there is nothing you can’t learn!
