Röhm unterstützt geflüchtete Waisenkinder in Kahl/Main

Seit Februar führt Russland einen groß angelegten Angriffskrieg gegen die Ukraine mit katastrophalen Auswirkungen auf das Leben der Menschen und ihren Alltag. Mit dem Ausbruch des Krieges sind mittlerweile mehr als 8 Millionen Menschen aus der Ukraine geflohen. Unter ihnen auch 21 Waisenkinder und ihre Betreuerinnen aus Kiew, die im Schloss Emmerichshofen in Kahl/Main erst einmal eine neue Heimat bzw. sicheren Zufluchtsort gefunden haben.

Mit Unterstützung des Vereins Helping Hands wurde hier ein Gebäude umfunktioniert, sodass die Kinder und ihre neun Betreuerinnen hier einziehen konnten. Röhm spendet 3.000 Euro für diesen guten Zweck. „Unsere Anteilnahme an dem Schicksal der Menschen in der Ukraine und auf der Flucht ist groß“, sagt Michael Pack, Vorsitzender der Geschäftsführung von Röhm. „Wir hoffen, dass wir mit unserem Engagement dazu beitragen können, ihr aktuelles Leben in der Fremde ein wenig leichter zu machen.“
