Röhm launches a feasibility study on decarbonization
Reducing carbon emissions is the key to limiting global warming. Fossil fuels such as oil or coal have been used for decades to generate energy, but they are the main source of releasing carbon (CO₂). Mitigating global warming requires strong action at all levels, but most importantly, a switch from fossil fuels to renewable energy. This task can only be approached on a global scale - and industrial companies must contribute their efforts.

Röhm awarded Gold in the EcoVadis rating 2022, which means that the company has repeatedly demonstrated its responsibility in the categories of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement since its participation in 2020.

As Technical Service Manager in the Methacrylate Resins Business Unit in Darmstadt, his job includes advising customers on the DEGALAN® brand. A small number of these customers don’t need the binder for industrial purposes, but for the restoration of frescoes, paintings and busts.
