Supplier Engagement Program

In order to achieve the decarbonization targets, for 2024 and beyond a Supplier Engagement Program was introduced in the beginning of May. In addition to direct and indirect energy-related carbon dioxide emissions (Scope 1 and 2), the focus is now also shifting to Scope 3 emissions along the supply chain.

The transparency and traceability of product carbon footprint (PCF) data is becoming increasingly important for Röhm. Measures to reduce this will influence purchasing decisions in the future. In this way, we not only want to achieve our decarbonization goals, but also provide our customers with an early offer based on the existing product range that consists of low-PCF and sustainable products.

The proTerra product range now comprises seven products from the four brands PLEXIGLAS®, DEGALAN®, DEGAROUTE® and MERACRYL®. This gives customers the choice between familiar products and products with a proportion of renewable or recycled raw materials.
