Chuck is known as a problem solver at the Shanghai MATCH site. "I'm a troubleshooter," he says. "I ensure we can complete projects smoothly - even if there are technical difficulties."

Chuck is primarily responsible for plant maintenance. "I make sure all inspections, tests, and maintenance are done on time and documented." The focus is on the standards reinforced by government and company requirements. It's important to him to expand his knowledge: "My goal is to constantly develop myself."

A typical project: His team is working under high pressure to have the Safety Production License - SPL for short - renewed. "The team is getting behind it. Our work rate is not slowing down." We can't do it without the cohesion of our colleagues: "Everyone is pulling together. That's the only way we can overcome challenges like the pandemic."

Sports provide him with a balance to his daily work routine. Chuck has a lot of ball skills - his passion is soccer and basketball. But his favorite way to spend his free time is with his kids: "Of course, that's a lot of fun."
