Nothing works without water

Most of our production processes require water for cooling. We also receive large quantities of our raw materials by ship and transport some of our products by sea. In 2023, Röhm analyzed the water stress at all of its production locations worldwide. Our analysis provided us with a differentiated result which we were able to use as basis for deriving various courses of action. We use our water management system to record and document all important key figures such as extraction, source, disposal, field of use, quantity and losses in a systematic and structured manner. Only on the basis of a reliable and valid data basis, sound and reasonable decisions are possible.
