EcoVadis Rating: Röhm among the top 5 percent worldwide

• Röhm has once again improved its EcoVadis rating 2025 and received the gold award

EcoVadis annually evaluates a company's sustainability performance in the areas of environment, climate, labor and human rights, sustainable procurement, and good corporate governance using an extensive questionnaire. Based on the evaluation, a ranking of the best companies assessed by EcoVadis is created.

Röhm now ranks among the top 5 percent of all companies assessed by EcoVadis in the last 12 months worldwide.

The basis for EcoVadis Rating was a comprehensive analysis of the impact of business and procurement activities on the environment, labour and human rights as well as ethical aspects. The ESG Report 2024, Röhm's non-financial statement, provided valuable support in this regard. Röhm has improved above all in the areas of labor and human rights, ethical action, and sustainable procurement. "This success was made possible by the great commitment of a cross-departmental team," says Peter Reinhard, responsible for sustainability programs at Röhm.

Since 2020, Röhm has been facing the EcoVadis rating. The EcoVadis rating has established itself as a benchmark for sustainability assessment, especially in the chemical industry. Many customers and suppliers also participate in this rating, which enables constructive dialogue at eye level. In addition, financial markets, customers and suppliers are increasingly orienting their purchasing and financing decisions according to ratings such as the EcoVadis label. Every improvement in the EcoVadis rating is a reflection of Röhm's progress in the areas of environment, social and governance.
