Röhm optimizes MERACRYL® MMA capacities in Shanghai
To support global Methacylates “Verbund” and growth strategy of PMMA molding compounds production line in Shanghai, Röhm started a refinery project to further optimize its MERACRYL® MMA capacity.
The capacity expansion of Röhm’s Shanghai production was successfully commissioned beginning of September adding up to 20% capacity. Röhm announced the expansion of PLEXIGLAS® capacity in Shanghai in July 2022. The new MERACRYL® MMA capacity will support the rapid growth in Asia with consistent high quality. “It will enhance supply reliability of Bulk Monomer and strengthen our footprint in growth Asia Market”, said by Davie Zheng, head of Business Unit Bulk Monomers in Asia.
