Customers have the choice

One of the most important goals of Röhm’s Track 2030 sustainability program is to drive forward the circular economy. The proTerra product range now includes numerous products from the four brands PLEXIGLAS®, DEGALAN@, DEGAROUTE® and MERACRYL®.  Customers can now choose from the products they know and products containing a proportion of renewable or recycled raw materials.

The International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS scheme offers maximum transparency and therefore Gold Status when using certified sustainable raw materials. Certification is based on the mass-balance approach which ensures that sustainable raw materials are used, and the supply chain is traceable. Röhm has already had numerous products from specific plants within the wider group certified under ISCC PLUS—these include methyl methacrylate (MMA), butyl methacrylate, methacrylic acid, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) coating raw materials in Wesseling, and MMA, PMMA, butyl methacrylate, methacrylic acid, hydroxyethyl and hydroxypropyl methacrylate in Worms.
